1.  Preparing The Triphala Solution:

  • We mix 1 part coarsely ground Triphala with 16 parts water.
  • Then heat the mixture slowly over a low flame.
  • We reduce it to 1/4th of its original volume, which may take time.
  • Strain to remove solid particles, resulting in a clear liquid containing Triphala's essence.

2.  Soaking The Shilajit Stones:

  • We combine 1.5 parts of crude Shilajit stones with the clear Triphala solution.
  • Then soak the Shilajit stones overnight to absorb Triphala's properties and aid in purification.

3.  Decanting And Slow Reduction:

  • Soak the Shilajit for 5-7 days with frequent stirring to allow the active constituents to dissolve fully into the liquid.
  • After this soaking period, carefully decant the liquid to separate it from the stones or sediment.
  • Then we heat the decanted liquid gently over a low flame until it thickens to a viscous consistency.
  • This process concentrates the active constituents by evaporating water content.

4.  Collection Of Himalayan Purified Shilajit:

  • The purified Shilajit paste is the viscous mass obtained after slow reduction.
  • Allow it to cool, then store it in an airtight container.

This purification method, combining Triphala with water and Shilajit, believed that Triphala's detoxifying properties and water treatment aid in the purification process.
